Some famous noodle soup in Changsha |

Stinky tofu! It's originally from Changsha |
Changsha seemed like a typical Chinese city with the mixture of modern and traditional. There were lots of huge buildings that seemed like apartment complexes and clothes shops and snack vendors were lined up along the street. And of course, there were constructions going on everywhere, just like in Shanghai and other big cities.
We wanted to visit
some tourist places near Changsha, but it started to drizzle and we didn’t have
enough time to stick around Changsha. So we took a heiche(literally means “black
car.” They’re regular cars that carry out the taxi business without the legal
taxi license) to the bus station. I wouldn’t normally take a heiche because I don’t
feel safe in one, but we were with the local guy, who said he takes heiche all
the time. At the bus station, we bought our bus tickets to Zhangjiajie and said
goodbye to our new friend.
The bus ride was for 4
hours and it stopped occasionally for restroom breaks. Travelling around by
plane, taxi, and bus all on the same day had worn me out and I was so ready for
bed by the time we reached our hotel. After a warm shower, I lay down on the
soft and comfortable bed thinking the bed is so much better than my bed back in
the dorm… and was out in a second.
